Share Whatsapp Status on Facebook | Whatsapp Beta 2.19.151
WhatsApp has submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.19.151. But what features has WhatsApp added in this update?
According to WABetainfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp updates, WhatsApp is working on some cool features and these features are not available yet. In April, WhatsApp was planning to add a feature that quickly allowed to share your status updates to Facebook and finally you can see some tracks of the feature: in the 2.19.151, WhatsApp is finally working to implement the Share To Facebook feature.

As you can see in the above image/screenshot, if the Facebook app is installed, WhatsApp will add a new option called Add to Facebook Story. When tapped, you will be redirected to Facebook to share your story. Using this option, WhatsApp will allow to post your status updates on Facebook, that contain images, videos, GIFs and text. The process is not automatic, the user has to manually use the option.
The QR code feature is not available yet for development reasons. However, when the feature will be enabled, a new QR Code button will be added in the Profile section.

As you can see in the above image/screenshot, the QR code button is showing in the profile section. If the user taps the QR Code icon, a new section will be presented, showing your personal QR Code, ready to be shared. If you share your QR Code, you are sharing your phone number. Everyone will scan your QR Code can contact you on WhatsApp. For this reason you should be very careful to share it. WhatsApp gives the possibility to revoke the QR Code at anytime, so you can stop your QR Code to work, replacing with another one. This feature is useful for Businesses, that can publish the QR Code on their web sites. As mentioned above, the feature is not available yet and it will be enabled in future.
