WhatsApp beta for Android 2.19.183: what’s new?
WhatsApp has submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.19.183. But what features has WhatsApp added in this update?
According to WABetainfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp updates, The next feature that we will see in WhatsApp in future is called Hide Muted Status Updates.
The new Hide Muted Status Updates, as the name suggests, will allow the user to completely hide the section that lists all muted status updates. This feature is currently under development, For this reason there is not any issue if you have updated WhatsApp and you don’t see the feature enabled.

As you can see in the above image/screenshot, when the feature will be enabled, a new button HIDE is visible on the header of the muted status updates section: if pressed, all status updates will be collapsed and hidden. The user can restore the visibility of hidden muted status updates simply pressing SHOW, visible when the user has previously hidden them.
